School Council

Our school council is made up of eight children from Beech Class and Rowan Class.  At the beginning of each school year, children are encouraged to persuade their peers to vote for their position on the school council by going through an election.  They share with their peers their ideas for the forthcoming year and the qualities that they can bring to the school council.  The votes are collected from each year group and the council is elected.

Our school council meets two to three times each term.  They focus on a range of matters, in and out of school, such as fundraising for a charity event or working on improving playtimes. Our school council also deliver assemblies with the support of their lead teacher, Mrs Ghuman.

You may notice members of the school council in and around school, wearing their yellow sash with pride.
