End of term Assembly

Enjoy the summer break

As the end of our school year draws to an end I would like to thank all our wonderful children and parents for the way you have responded so positively to the many challenges that we have faced due to the pandemic. Children have coped really well showing resilience and perseverance with the control measures, bubble system and staggered starts and finishes along with the many interruptions to schooling that we have had with lockdown and social isolation. It has been lovely to see children continue to enjoy their education and take part in the many exciting activities planned throughout the year. Our school community has drawn together and your support has been very much appreciated over the year by myself, staff and trustees. I hope you all enjoy plenty of sunshine and spending lots of quality time with your child and families over the summer holiday. We look forward to seeing children return in September.

Sadly our year 4 children were unable to attend our end of year assembly. We are all incredibly proud of your achievements not just over this past year but throughout your learning journey from Early Years. It has been fantastic to see children’s confidence grow as they mature and take on new learning experiences. We are all very disappointed and sad that we have not been able to carry out the planned Year 4 leaver’s events over the last week for our Year 4 children who are self-isolating. On behalf of myself and all our staffing team we wish you all the best for Middle school and look forward to hearing how you are keeping on. I am sure you will quickly settle, make new friends and enjoy your time in your new school.
