Caythorpe Court

Year 4 residential trip

Caythorpe Court – Last week Beech class went to Caythorpe Court on a PGL residential trip. The children all had
a fantastic time and made the most of the opportunities that were given to them. Here are their quotes:
“I loved the giant swing because it was so high. You had to pull the rope so that you could swing and it felt like
you were dropping from a mountain.” Sophie
“We went climbing and had to belay if we were not climbing. I was about to stop just over half way up but I had
the courage to go further and I got to the top and rang the bell.” Tia
“At Caythorpe we sang songs and everyone joined in as we walked around. The best song was about Joe and the
butter factory.” Ruby
“We had a fry up every day. My favourite was the porridge because it was thick and creamy.” George
“On the first night we played Ambush and the girls won.” Hannah
Caythorpe Court is possibly the best place in the universe!” Luigi
Thank you to Mrs Gadsden who organises the trip and takes care of all our medical needs while we are away and
to Mrs Shelvey and Mrs Edmonds for escorting the children on this trip.
